ILOG MARIA APITHERAPY

APITHERAPY

Is the use of bee products to help detoxify your system and bring your body's biochemistry back into balance. Apitherapy best prepares your body for Bee Sting Therapy; as it employs foods of the bees.

This helps your auto-immune system do it's primordial task of protecting you from disease.

This also helps abate the symptoms of disease. Your body regains balance and heals itself.

We do not process our bee products in any way that will diminish their effectiveness.

First, we must always remember that our beehive products are not ours. They belong to our honeybees, who use it to nourish, maintain and protect themselves.

Second, we must always remember that there are seasons in the year where honey, beeswax, propolis, royal jelly, pollen and bee venom are in abundance; there are seasons when these are just enough, sometimes not enough, for our honeybees.

The art of beekeeping is knowing when there is a surplus and knowing how to harvest the surplus.

HONEY

There is an abundance of floral blooms during summer. Sometimes summer comes early; sometimes it comes late. We make sure to harvest honey only when there is a superabundance of it in our beehives. We make sure to leave some of it to tide our bees over the off-season. Once harvested, we do not heat or filter it. We do not even touch it. It stays "Virgin". We seal it in food grade bottles, making sure not to let moisture in, which would spoil it. Honey is best for:

  • Staunching bleeding of even the most serious wounds

  • Relieving pain of even the worst burns

  • Preventing excessive scarring of wounds and burns

  • Relieving digestive disorders

  • Easing constipation

  • Strengthening against asthma attacks

BEE POLLEN

We trap bee pollen only during the pollen season; and, only for a limited time the day after a good rain. We dry it just enough so it will keep, making sure that we do not overheat it. Then, we vacuum pack it in sealed containers. It will keep for months if we protect it from moisture. When it begins to discolor, it is prudent to feed it to our pets. Bee pollen is best for

  • Aiding nutrition with readily absorbable vitamins and minerals

  • Boosting endurance & stamina

  • Losing weight

  • Regulating digestion & elimination

  • Improving night vision

  • Correcting erectile dysfunction

ROYAL JELLY

We freeze royal jelly immediately upon harvest. Frozen, it is stable for about two to three years. After this time, it begins to lose its goodness. Note that royal jelly cannot spoil. We freeze it so it will retain its freshness. For long-term storage, it is best frozen. For immediate use, say 1 month, it can be kept in your refrigerator's chiller. It can stand room temperatures for about one to two weeks. Royal jelly is best for:

  • Feeding the glands in your endocrine system and balancing hormones

  • Easing stress and tension

  • Improving sleep

  • Enhancing fertility

PROPOLIS

We infuse and macerate propolis in organic coconut brandy for about two years to extract its beneficial ingredients. Only after this time do we decant, filter and bottle it. Rather than go through the expensive process of pulverizing and tabletizing or encapsulating it, we prefer to use this time honoured tradition. We have discovered that this is the best way to extract the essential ingredients

and beneficial effects of bee propolis. It is also the most absorbable form of propolis. Propolis is best for:

  • Boosting your immune system

  • Coughs, colds, fever and asthma

  • Inflammation or swelling

  • Urinary tract disorders

  • Inflamed wounds and burns

  • General detoxification

BEE VENOM

We no longer harvest or extract bee venom from our beehives. However, our honey, bee pollen, royal jelly and propolis contain trace amounts of bee venom. Bee venom benefits your auto-immune system immensely. Bee venom is best for:

Rheumatism, tendonitis, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, backpain and body Aches & pains, improving eyesight, multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, and cancer
